Mitchell I SABA8 (Isber and Ramza / Michael and Catherine) was born on 20 Feb 1904 in Dubois, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, USA and died on 8 Sep 1981 in Akron, Summit, Ohio, USA4 at age 77. The cause of his death was Congestive Heart Failure. Mitchell never married and had no children.

Mitchell (Mike) Saba, 77, of 701 Dorchester Rd., passed away Sept. 8 at Akron City Hospital.

He was born in DuBois, Pa., and was an Akron resident for 60 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph Melkite Church.

Mr. Saba is survived by sister, Clara L. Saba; brothers, William J. and Edward, all of Akron, Henry of Cuyahoga Falls, George J. of Alliance; and nephew, George W. of Alliance.

Funeral services 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.

Research Notes: “Mike” was a clerk at a supermarket (his brother’s likely) and as also never married, also lived with his siblings William, Edward and Clara at 701 Dorchester Road in Akron.

My Uncles Mitchell, Bill and Eddie along with my Aunt Clara never married. They lived together in a house in Akron. First in the family house on Euclid avenue and then on Dorchester.

 

Isber and Ramza were residing at 237 Spruce Alley, DuBois at the time of Mitchell’s birth.

 

Birth Record for Mitchell lists him as Mick, father as Mick, and mother as Reanza Saba.
