Eddie Saba: Professional Football Player

Here is Edward G. Saba’s death notice. In it is mention that he played professional football for Providence Steamrollers of the Eastern Football League but I believe it was the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. The last reference I found to him playing was a blurry team rooster from 1945.

Nesley Saba cousin to Alfred, Edward, and Phosy Nesley and Catherine Bashara (who both lived in Philadelphia)
