Phosy G. Saba, 78, of Windham Road, Willimantic, widower of Olga (Woron) Saba, died Sunday at Windham Community Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 21, 1912, in Willimantic, son of the late Fadlou and Rose (Kirsch) Saba, and was a lifelong resident. He owned and operated Saba’s Package Store as various locations in Willimantic for 45 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, the Senior Citizens of Windham and the Willimantic

Elks Lodge No 1311 BPOE. He is survived by a son, Phosy L. “Mickey” Saba of Willimantic; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral:

SABA–Phosy G. Funeral procession will be at 10:15 a. m. Wednesday from the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, to a service at 11 a. m. at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are also invited to call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m., Tuesday. There will be a Panhida service at 7:30 p. m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 414 Valley Street, Willimantic, CT.
