On March 17, 2011, St. Patrick\u2019s Day, my family and I went to see The King’s Singers<\/a>\"\" perform at the Jorgenson Theater, on the University of Connecticut.\u00a0\u00a0 We got to sit in the front row!\u00a0 It was my and my sister\u2019s first time seeing them perform, my mom\u2019s fourth time and my dad\u2019s sixth.\u00a0 In the first half of the performance, the King\u2019s Singers sang 13 prearranged songs.\u00a0 All thirteen songs I had never heard before, but they all had a nice rhythm.\u00a0 One of the King\u2019s singers, named Paul, I liked in particular.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In the second half of the performance, the King\u2019s singers chose some of their favorite songs to sing.\u00a0 Unlike the songs sung in the first half, two of the songs I had heard.\u00a0 One of the songs that I have heard before was, \u201cI\u2019m Yours\u201d as performed by \u201cJason Mraz<\/a>\"\"\u201d.\u00a0 Paul sang the lead for this arrangement and he did a great job with the solo.\u00a0 After they had sung all their songs, they went off stage.\u00a0 We stood for a standing ovation, they came back on to sing one more song, Danny boy.\u00a0 That officially ended the performance.<\/p>\n

After the show, the King\u2019s Singers came out into the lobby.\u00a0 My sister and I got each of them to sign a photo of all the King\u2019s singers.\u00a0 We even got our picture taken with a few of them.\u00a0 One of them was Paul.\u00a0 Now that I\u2019ve seen them once, I can\u2019t wait to see them again!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
