On March 27, 1975, David, beloved husband of Clara Saba (nee Shaman) devoted father of Jack L. and Abraham C. Saba, brother of Austin, Joseph and Nesley Saba, Mrs. Beatrice Shatara and Mrs. Mary Johnson and the late Philip Saba.<\/span><\/p>\n

Services at Sol Levinson & Bros. Home, 6010 Reistertown Road on Sunday, March 30, at 1 P.M. Interment in Mikro Kodesh Beth Israel Congregation Cemetery, Bowley’s Lane. Please omit flowers. In mourning at 6215 Hopeton Avenue (21215) beginning {remainder of obit cut off–jss}<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a story once told to Charlie Saba by Nesley Saba, David Saba was wed five times–twice before he married Mary Ann Smith.<\/span><\/p>\n

David married <\/span>Mary Ann SMITH<\/strong><\/span>,<\/span>46<\/span><\/sup> daughter of <\/span>Francis Douglas SMITH<\/strong><\/span> and <\/span>Henrietta Ella WILLIAMS<\/strong><\/span>, on 30 Apr 1926 in Elizabeth City, Virginia, USA. The marriage ended in divorce between 1933-1936. Mary was born on 2 Dec 1907 in Pocomoke, Worcester, Maryland, USA and died on 19 May 1975 in Salisbury, Wicomico, Maryland, USA at age 67. The cause of her death was Cancer. They had three children: <\/span>Norma Lee, David Valentino Jr<\/strong><\/span>, and <\/span>Phyllis Joan<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. A. T. Fetters<\/span><\/p>\n

Mrs. Mary Ann Fetters, 67, of 628 Liberty St., who had been ill for some time, was dead on arrival Monday at Peninsula General Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her husband is Andrew T. Fetters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in Pocomoke City, she was a daughter of the late Frank D. and Henrietta Williams Smith.<\/span><\/p>\n

Surviving in addition to her husband, are three children, Mrs. Norma Ayers, Strasburg, Ohio, Mrs. Joan Sturm, Salisbury, and David Saba, Prattville, Ala.; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, King Smith, Bloxom, Marion and Ernest Carroll Smith, Mrs. Eunice Williams, Salisbury, and Harvey Smith and Mrs. Catherine Sparrow, New Church, Va., and several nieces and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The Rev. Rudolph Miller will be officiating.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interment will be in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pocomoke City.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friends may call at the Holloway Funeral Home Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 pm. Prayers will be said at 8 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n
